We all know that your dog is more than just a dog. They are a member of your family and your best friend which is why it is so important to protect your buddy against a range of infectious diseases that can have a serious effect on their health and welfare.
Best practice treats all dogs as individuals and so they should be assessed to determine what is appropriate vaccinations for them, however the ‘core’ canine vaccines to protect your furry friend against are CDV, CPV and CAV. These diseases can cause canine distemper, parvovirus infection and infectious canine hepatitis so it is essential to protect your dog against these severe or life-threatening diseases.
We tailor your dog or puppy’s health plan to their size and have a range of pet plans available for small, medium, large and extra-large dogs.
Small dog breeds like the Jack Russell, Bichon Frise and the Chihuahua, to name a few, require preventative care to keep them happy and healthy. Your small breed puppy will require their initial vaccination set and small adult dogs will require top up vaccinations each year.
You will also be required to protect your dog with an annual wormer and ensure they are microchipped and neutered in accordance with EU Law. Your pet health plan will make sure your small dog is protected all year round.
Your vet will offer at least the following benefits as part of the Pet Health Plan*:
- Annual Core Vaccinations (Including Kennel Cough where required)**
