How Does It Work?
Generally, your vet will recommend that your pet needs to have reached their adult weight before the Vetsure Direct service can begin. This is because kittens and puppies gain weight rapidly in approximately the first six months of their lives and will need to be seen by their vet regularly during this time to ensure that prescribed doses are correct.
Once your pet is fully grown it’s far easier for your vet to determine the correct dose of products required. You will still need to come into the surgery for periodic routine health checks but all of the required products included in your plan can be delivered directly to your home. With Vetsure Direct, your vet will choose the best prescription healthcare products tailored to your pet’s needs, and these will then be delivered straight to your door at regular intervals.
How Do I Sign Up?
First, you’ll need to check that your vet is offering Pet Health Plans through Vetsure and signed up to offer direct delivery through our Vetsure Direct service.

Check the practice’s list of benefits to find out more about the products and services that they offer within their Pet Health Plan, and the price for direct delivery where applicable (some practices include direct delivery as standard and include in the price quoted).
