A great value pet health plan, smartpet is an active, service-led treatment routine, keeping a regular eye on your pet’s health and preventing potential problems before they have a chance to happen (or get worse). All for one affordable monthly payment.

Vetsure will look after the administration for your plan, including collecting monthly Direct Debits from The Pet Vet – Southampton clients on their behalf. This leaves you with more time to focus on taking care of your companion.

Complete Plan

  • Annual Core Vaccinations – Including Feline Leukaemia vaccine for cats and Kennel Cough for dogs when required*
  • Flea & Worming treatments – As recommended by your vet.
  • 1 Nurse Life Stage Consultation**
  • Nurse Wellness Consultations (15 minutes)*** – 11 for dogs, 5 for cats.
  • 10% off all other products, medications & treatments
  • 5% off Vetsure Pet Insurance (when a policy is taken out or renewed for the pet(s) on your Pet Health Plan).

Premier Plan

All items within the Complete Plan plus:

  • 1 Nurse Consultation with Wellness Profile Test (urine, blood and faecal analysis)
  • 2 Free Vet Consultations Per Year
  • Scale and Polish, Dental X-Ray and Charting for £320 – Cat £420 average, 20kg dog £490 average
  • Free home delivery of flea and worming products
  • Choice between Prinovox and Simparica Trio for Dogs – As part of their annual antiparasitic treatment

Rabbit Plan

  • Annual booster with a Vet health check
  • Rearguard fly-strike products provided annually
  • Nurse consult with microchipping – or £10 credit if already microchipped
  • Nurse consult with full health check.
  • 2 x Incisor burr Consultation****
  • 4 x Nurse consults with nail clip
  • 10% off all products, medication, treatments & surgeries

*The cost of the first part of your puppy’s two-part vaccination course is not covered. the second part is covered.

** Pets under the age of 1 – Nose to tail check plus microchipping OR £10 credit if already microchipped. Pets over the age of 1 – Nose to tail check plus urine dip stick & blood pressure check.

*** 15 – minutes nurse wellness consultations can be used for repeat injections (excludes cost of medication), weight monitoring, nail clips, anal gland expression, oral assessments & general health checks.

**** Or 4 x incisor burr consultations if your rabbit doesn’t require Rearguard

Please ensure you are registered with the desired practice you wish to purchase your Pet Health Plan from. If you are not registered, your plan may be cancelled.

Pet Insurance

Pet Health Plan members also benefit from 5% off a Vetsure Pet Insurance policy for the same dog, cat, puppy or kitten.
